Coffee Plantation

As a Certified Organic Plantation, we completely avoid the use of pesticides or chemicals and grow completely GM free trees.

High Trees Estate is a boutique family business nestled on the Alstonville Plateau not too far from Byron Bay, New South Wales, now emerging as a centre for the production of premium quality coffee.  The deep rich volcanic soil and cooler temperatures allow the beans to mature gradually, intensifying their flavour in the process.

The red volcanic soil, has been acknowledged by Government authorities as deserving of the highest level of environmental protection, such is it’s agricultural value. Our property is ideal – gently undulating, deep rich soil, high rainfall with sweeping views across the coastal plain to the Pacific Ocean. Next came the detailed process of plantation design, soil preparation and finally the planting of seedlings – a process the previous owners Lynne & Philipp (est 1997)  undertook themselves as even the planting of the trees can affect the quality of the fruit.

Our family now lovingly looks after this plantation Jenni, Tony and daughters, Talitha & Coco Rogers.  We come to the business with a wide range of skills gained from many years of experience in both the restaurant and farming industries.

We look forward to carrying on the traditions created by Lynne and Philipp based on Organic production and we will also be producing new coffee blends and new products to cater for the latest trends and tastes required by the new generation of coffee drinkers.
